I’m just over 16 weeks and have just finished a course of antibiotics for a UTI. I’m laying in bed and keep feeling like I kind of need a wee, with a tummy ache very low down and when I sit on the loo I feel a kind of pressure down there but also like I’m getting piles or something at the same time. It feels horrible and I know I’m too early for this to be baby causing the pressure. Could I have a UTI again? I’m not in pain just discomfort does anyone kind of know what I mean??? It’s horrible and I can’t sleep 😢

Are you constipated? That can cause a pressure feeling.
I got pressure with my 3 from early on (though 2 were premature so I wouldn't want to say that I'm 100% that its normal). My other one was term and I got it with his pregnancy early on too and assumed it was just the growing and weight of the womb with the fluids and placenta etc.

The best thing to do is phone your midwife tomorrow and ask to set your mind at rest but I would think it's normal due to rapidly having more to fit in your abdomen than before.

I could well be constipated yes...a bit tmi sorry but I did struggle this evening and the issues seemed to start after that...
Thanks for the reply I have a midwife appointment tomorrow anyway so I will talk to her :-) just hope I can sleep!

I'm much further along at 37 weeks so it might be the baby but I have a uti and I'm feeling the exact same thing. Tons of pressure down below pain to my left were my bladder is add constantly feeling like I need to wee but when I go there's nothing.
Are you sure the course worked? It might not have gotten rid of the infection and it's snuck back in

it sounds like the same feeling I had with a UTI when the first lot of antibiotics didn't work. I'd get it looked at ASAP as I didn't and it ended up being really painful.
