Gababpentin and pregnancy

Not sure if this is a bit too niche, but just wondering if anyone has been on Gabapentin while pregnant? I'm currently taking the highest allowed dose for trigeminal neuralgia, and mentioned to the neurologist I'd like to have another baby sometime soon. He's told me it is 'likely' to be safe, which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence! Has anyone had any experience with it?

I have to stop my gabapentin immediately. I was taking it for sheehans syndrome and idiopathic intercrainal hypertention. I was told to come off the naproxen gabapentin and amitriptyline as soon as i found out I was pregnant.

I also came off my gapapentin when I found out I was pregnant. I'm very much looking forward to being able to take it again!

Thanks ladies. I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of being on it while pregnant, and you've confirmed that for me!

Had to come of below meds when I found out I was pregnant in November.

Gabapentin
Buscopan
Naproxen

All for IIH and stomach surgery in april and they advised to get off it asap.

Hi @pingoose my doctor told me to stop taking it even when trying for a baby, I was on a very high dose and she said said just to stop taking it
