I ate at least one a day for a few weeks with dd1!

It just means the cream has something added to it so it stays thick. If you look at the ingredients this is probably pectin?

Absolutely fine! It’s just normal cream with added thickener

Jestem · 18/04/2018 20:18

You can! It just means the cream has been treated. Do yourself a favour and read the NHS list of foods to avoid, it's pretty short and your pregnancy will be more enjoyable for not unnecessarily restricting what you eat!

Unless it a home made sherry trifle or tiramisu that’s dripping in alcohol then get stuck in and enjoy!!

I hope so as I've eaten loads! I don't usually do desserts but I can eat a whole trifle to myself easy peasy!

BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer · 18/04/2018 20:51

Only if you share it round. And that it's not that cheap value trifle. Homemade or posh shop bought if you please! 😋

ConfusionIsNothingNew · 18/04/2018 20:53

It's been one of my cravings so I bloody well hope so!!!!

I’m sorry OP - but triffle (rhymes with skiffle) has really made me laugh.

I could bloody murder a trifle - got diagnosed with an egg intolerance a couple of years ago and haven’t had one since 😭

Yes, go ahead. I don’t think there’s any reason not to eat one in pregnancy. Enjoy! (jealous)
