BFP getting lighter

Got my BFP on Saturday (test on the right) and then took another test today (test on the left).

I know that I sound silly cause they are both clearly positive but is it normal that today’s is lighter?

1st test was done with first mornings urine but today’s wasn’t so I don’t know if that would make a difference?

Please be kind it’s my first pregnancy and I’m really anxious haha

@Birchgirl I think it's normal, especially if it isn't your first wee of the morning Smile try and relax! I'm sure everything will be ok and massive congratulations!❤️

You're pregnant, bin the wee-covered sticks and go and drool at expensive baby gear on Pinterest or something 😁

neonyellowshoes · 18/04/2018 14:25

Oh and congratulations!

LittleFox01 · 18/04/2018 14:47

Thank you everyone for your replies, you’ve managed to calm me down haha

I know, I do need to stop. I need to start thinking more positively Smile

Please stop taking tests. There is so much anxiety during pregnancy for women - don't start giving in to it. You're pregnant. The lines won't change. If you miscarried, the lines might still show positive. Your weeing on a stick portion of this process is over!

The test on the left is darker, not lighter. The control line is lighter because the test line is so dark it has started pulling dye across from the control line.

That said, stop testing.

Birchgirl · 19/04/2018 09:34

It’s hard to see it in the picture but it is noticeably lighter. But my POS days are over! Haha

That's the control line that's lighter, not the test line. This happens with FRER - the test line gets so dark that it starts pulling dye from the control line.

Look at the picture on the stick itself - looking at it with the writing the right way up, the control line is the line to the right, the test line is on the left.
