Indigestion chest pains

Does anyone know of any remedies to ease chest pains? I have had indigestion for about a month (gradually getting worse) downing loads of gaviscon. Been to docs and was given omeprazole but that didn't do anything at all.
Over the last week I have developed a stabbing chest pain in the top part of my left boob. Sometimes it radiates to my arm sometimes to my back sometimes to my jaw but mostly just stays in my chest.

Any suggestions? It woke me up last night.
The pain is not BAD it's like a 3 out of 10
I am getting an appointment with my go but next one is in a week.

👋 hi,

You can try to reduce onions/garlic/spicy food/caffeine sleep on your left side and also use an extra pillow. Otherwise have you tried ranitidine (Zantac). You can buy that over the counter if omeprazole didn’t work for you

What dose of omeprazole are you taking and how long for? You might need to take it for a few days continuously before you see an improvement and you may need a stronger dose. There are other PPIs that may work if omeprazole doesn't, I don't know about their use in pregnancy but they're very similar drugs (things like lansoprazole, pantoprazole etc), worth talking to your GP about it again.

Yoghurt and milk can help too. I have yoghurt every evening and I notice if I go a few days without it.
