New mattress for out n about double carrycot

It just dawned on me that since our carrycots are second hand we should probably get new mattresses for them.

I've had a look but couldn't see any the right size (the carrycots are 80 x 32 - for the out n about nipper double v4).

Has anyone found a new replacement mattress that fits these carrycots?

You can get one made to measure. I can't remember the name of the company but Google baby mattresses as it's something like that.

Thanks. My babies are due on three weeks though so a bit worried about getting anything made to order. Our cots were and took 6 weeks.

Honestly I would just bung the ones you have through the wash. I have the out n about single carry cot and had cause to wash the mattress after a.... spillage. It was fine. I just dried it on a radiator.

The advice about second hand mattresses has changed recently and it's not thought to be the SIDS risk it was previously. IIRC the out n about carrycots aren't recommended for overnight sleeping anyway so presumably you will mainly be using it for naps/travelling rather than long periods of sleep?

I’ve had a good look and can’t fins anything but this custom made place says if you need your order urgently they will make and dispatch straight away!

Thanks both: @pastabest yes I am just thinking of naps and @RosaBaby2 I'll take a look at the link.

They are just bits of foam though so if you really want to change them you could go somewhere like dunelm and get replacement foam and cut it to shape yourself.
