I'm 20 weeks pregnant. I have had a tiny, tiny bit of spotting every now and again. Nothing even on a tissue just my pants looked a bit like the very very start (or end) of a period - literally tiny amounts and not really particularly red, .
Anyway I noticed some half way through today so thought I would see what happened if I wiped around internally with my finger. On the wall of my vagina, up by my cervix, there was an area that felt a bit rough - not smooth like the rest of it.
Is that normal?!?!?! Again - very sorry to ask...!

Hi,

I’ve no idea but can you contact your midwife for reassurance?? I had very very little spotting with DD1 at 20 weeks (nothing on pads just when I wiped. I went to EPAU and turned out I needed the Anti D injection. You’re meant to have it at 30 weeks but I just needed it earlier so has it at 20, 30 and post birth.

No idea about cervix though as I never felt mine!!
