Hi, and sorry in advance for the silly question Blush

I'm 10 weeks pregnant with 3rd child (4th pregnancy, one missed mc at 17 wks). Previous successful pgs I had nausea from 5ish weeks on,and heartburn quite badly as well. This time all I've had is v uncomfortable bloating/gas, and some tenderness in breasts. No nausea or heartburn at all. Then yesterday and today I've suddenly had very bad nausea, where I thought I would vomit if I even moved, but managed force down half dry rice cake and sit still til passed a bit.

Anyway, the silly question. I'm worrying that the fact that the symptoms are occurring so much later this time are signs of a developmental delay/problem with the baby. I'm close to 40 now and over 3 years older than having my last baby so I am paranoid anyway of a possible problem. With my missed mc,5 years ago,it was discovered at 17 wks but in fact baby had stopped growing at 14.5 weeks I just had no idea. So am I being crazy or could this be a sign that the hormones are slower/less than they should be,or has anyone had similar experience and all been ok?

Thanks.

Congratulations on your pregnancy - such a tricky time when it's still early and you can't feel the baby, haven't had a scan etc. I doubt there's reason to worry, you could always call your midwife or maternity triage if you are worried about it though.

Best of luck - I'm sure everything is fine! X
