What to pack for leaving the hospital

Hi all

Am due mid June with my first baby. Not quite sure what to pack for leaving the hospital. I've been living in leggings and baggy tops - should I just pack more of the same for the journey home? Is a dress a better bet? am so sick of the sight of my maternity wardrobe!!

Definately more of the same... Its quite surprising just how big your bump remains after birth! It takes at least a week or two to shrink back down.

More of the same definitely. Your body won’t be that different for the first few weeks, and you’ll need the leggings to hide the massive maternity pad.

You could wear a maternity dress and cycling shorts or something if it is a heatwave (postnatal wards are always like saunas anyway), but you will need something over your knickers unless you have industrial-strength granny pants.

Yep you'll just want to be comfortable so stick with stuff you've been wearing and know fits comfortably.
