Headaches in pregnancy, low BP

I'm going mad with day 4 of the worst headache of my life. Paracetamol barely touches it, am drinking plenty of water and resting when I can. Is there anything else I can do/use to help relieve the pain a bit?

Am 16wks and my BP has been low throughout my pregnancy (90/60 last week).

Still worth calling your midwife for a check up.

I suffered with this and the only thing that has worked is a can of full fat coke. I read on here after suffering for over a month with constant headaches that someone said it may help and it actually cured my headaches.
I am pretty sure my issue is caffeine, I used to drink a LOT of tea and it was something I have gone off of entirely during pregnancy so I basically went cold turkey without even thinking about it.
Now I just have a can of coke a day and 1 cup of tea and its solved it so it could well be something as simple?

Pregnant or not, the 'worst headache of your life' is always cause to get checked out.

I had the worst headaches of my life during my first pregnancy and second pregnancy came bloody close. Absolutely none this time and the only thing I’ve done differently is take aspirin 75mg daily.
Try to keep grazing as much as possible, hydrated, I felt better with some sugar

I found 4head helpful combined with putting a cold flannel or ice pack on the back of my neck.
Caffeine can also help as well. I took dissolvable paracetamol in some full fat coke as I found this more effective than paracetamol alone.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Very low BP (85/50 last week!) 17 weeks and getting daily pounding headaches that paracetamol don't touch. I've tried a chiropractor but that only gave temporary relief. I accidentally took 2 paracetamol plus which did help - they have 65mg of caffeine in the so as long as you just take 2 and don't have any other caffeine that should be ok. I'm going to try accupuncture on thurs as it's supposed to be very helpful...will let you know how that goes if you like? It's pretty expensive but with nearly 3 weeks of daily headaches and the doctor telling me I'll just have to put up with it I'll try anything at this point!

Im not pregnant but just saw this thread and it just flicked a switch for me, I didnt realise low bp could cause headaches too Blush

I take beta blockers and have been feeling more side effects recently, bp has been getting really low, didnt click that the headaches could be related.

Oh me too! I have such low bp and the most awful headaches at 16w2d! I had no idea til now that the two could be connected! I have no solution though. The other day I thought drinking a lemonade maybe helped- sugar?
