Hi everyone,
This mornibg my wife has had some bright red blood (noticed when wiped) and her boobs are no longer sore. We’re really worried and GP wont see us as emergency.

Please does anyone have any advice please we’re teally worried?

Thanks

I have been told to go to drop in at the local hospital with any bleeding, at the unit that does the routine scans. GP won't be able to do much I don't think? Do you have anything like that locally? If she's had her booking appt can she phone a midwife?

Midwife is available from 8.30, been trying to call everywhere. Blood not heavy and we’re monitoring it with a pad

You’re doing the right thing by monitoring it. Bleeding in early pregnancy is common but not normal and should be checked out. An early pregnancy unit is where to go but in most places you will need a referral from midwife or gp. You could always ring them and ask what the policy is in your area.
Stay calm and stay hopeful is my advice. If she starts bleeding very heavily and or passing clots or is in a lot of pain then go to a n e.
Best of luck, hopefully you’ll be through to the midwife by now and will be getting referred.
On a side note some symptoms do ease off and symptoms can fluctuate and some bleeding can happen after sex to some women, just some other possibilities instead of thinking the worst :)

Thanks Guacamoledip, just had a massive flap this morning. Spoken with the MW and she said not to worry but booked us in for scan at 11.10 today

No problem. It’s more than understandable. I hope everything went well at the scan

Phew! All went well! Scan showed no issues and a lovely little heartbeat!! Dont think ive ever been so nervous! Not great for DW as they had to do an internal scan though
