Should my 12 week scan already be booked?

I am 9+2 weeks pregnant , have my midwife booking in appointment on Friday at local hospital but have already seen a midwife briefly at my GP surgery , there was a form in the paperwork to fill in to book ultrasound, have been so sick that have only really now come to look at it properly , it says to return to ultrasound department and lists contacts details , I am unsure whether this means I can post it or if I should just pop it in on Friday , if I do will that give them enough time to fit me in for 12 week scan? Anyone know how it works?
Thanks!

I got my letter through the post about 4 days after my first midwife appointment when I was 9 weeks. I’d just take it with you on Friday and hand it in, then you should get your letter at some point within next week or they might even let you book it there and then :)

I booked mine at my booking in appointment 🙂
