Still not feeling movements

I'm nearly 20 weeks and at my 13 week scan, the placenta was noted as being high and anterior so i do appreciate that movements might be felt late. But, surely I should be feeling something by now? My 20 week scan isn't for another week (when I'll be 20+6) and I'm really starting to feel anxious.

Anyone else not feel movement until this late?

@CRZ1988 it's when the placenta is at the front so can mask the baby's movements. You will be told at your scan if you have one.

Hi, I had an anterior placenta. I didn't feel movements until 23 weeks

I really wouldn’t worry. I didn’t feel too much at all until 24 weeks as I also had a high anterior placenta. The sonographer told me it would block me feeling a lot of her movements and she was right. If you still haven’t felt movement by then it’s a different story.

Anterior placenta here too! I remember asking the same thing Grin I finally felt her at 23/24 weeks and she hasn't stopped since! (29+6 now)

Thanks all. I will try and calm down. The scan will help (as long as it's not bad news, obviously)!

I had an anterior placenta and didn’t feel anything until almost 23 weeks.

Anterior placentas are a bugger. I barely felt my dd move the whole pregnancy!
