Holiday abroad recommendations whilst pregnant

Where should we go? & do we leave it until last minute to get a better deal?

Looking at May/June when I'll be around 22 weeks.

Obviously thinking short haul - but want a nice beach holiday with a bit of sun and a bit to do in the local area! I was thinking Spain/Portugal/Greece? Don't want to spend a fortune but want a nice break away for DH and I.

Just make sure you get full travel insurance and that they are aware of the pregnancy and it's covered by the insurance.

We're going to Tenerife at the end of May. I'll be 20 weeks. Guaranteed sun, lots of big hotels if you like that kind of thing, or smaller apartments etc. Contrary to popular belief there are some really lovely places to go beyond the touristy bits. (We're lucky as my parents live there and know their way around)

We ar going to Crete in a couple of weeks for a week. We are staying in Chania town. I’m looking forward to the warmth.

I’m off to Playa Blanca (Lanzarote) early May when I’ll be 28 weeks. We were going to Majorca but I want to be able to spend time in the pool/sea and the water temperature won’t have warmed up enough by then. Just wear your dvt socks on the plane and you’ll be fine

Corfu- the best food I've ever eaten in my life! Also nice beaches/weather/people too :-)
