Due 29th may what would you take?
I'm expecting to stay for 2 days I think hopefully less. I'm thinking it'll be quite warm what sleep suits blankets vests etc will I need?
How many nappies would you take. I know it sounds so obvious but my minds blank and this is dc 2!
Thankyou!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’d take short sleeved vests, sleepsuits and a couple of shorty they sleepsuits just in case there’s a heatwave. I think I just took a pack of newborn nappies.

Blankets how many Blankets? I had to borrow one from the hospital last time as mine were too thick for dc1

I hadn't my DC last June during the heatwave, I took in short sleeve vests and baby gro's. We were only allowed to use hospital blankets so I didn't take any in. Take some clip on battery powered fans for you just in case there's another heatwave! Mine were an absolute life saver, Amazon sell a load.

Do you mean a blanket to wrap them in for coming home? I’m presuming the hospital provide blankets to use while you’re there?

I'm not sure when I had dc1 thought they only brought me a blanket for baby because his temp was high in the night to keep him cooler?

DC2 was due 30th May, born 2nd June. It was a heatwave at the time. I just packed a couple of vests, a couple of babygrows, socks, a cardigan, thin blanket and a hat. She wore a vest, cardigan and hat with socks on the way home as it was roasting.

Hat, short sleeved bodysuits and some sleepsuits. Hospital provide blankets dont they?

DS was born at a similar time & it was a heatwave and that week was the one & only hot week of my maternity leave. He was still dressed by the MW in a short sleeved vest & a long sleeved babygro, just as my previous winter baby had been, and swaddled. We were home within 24 hours and for the rest of the week I either had him in a babygro or in a short sleeved vest and tucked a muslin over him and kept him in the shade.
