Serious rib pain!!

I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and had really uncomfortable pain under my right boob for a week or two, past two days it's extremely painful and almost constant!!
Any tips tricks or ideas why or what this is please? x

Baby probably has a foot or elbow wedged between your ribs. I got a cracked rib at 28 weeks because of this (that is VERY uncommon though!). I would advise using ice on it at the moment and mention it to your GP if it persists as they can prescribe some sort of pain killers. That’s all I had anyway and it did help.

I’m in the same boat. Sometimes I just lay down on the floor or the bed on my side full stretch until baby moves his bum or feet out of my rib. I read the ribs move up to 5cm outward during pregnancy which probably explains the pain. I’d mention it to your midwife though as well. Good luck!! Xx

Mine started around then too and continued hurting until he was born

I then had severe bruising that didn't go away for about 5 months

I am short, he was very long 95th percentile baby
