Hi, just looking for advice really and any would be appreciated. I had some bleeding about 5 days ago which lasted 48 hours with 2 very small clots and then a bit of tissue (that is what the dr thought it was). Gp couldn't find heartbeat with Doppler so sent me to the hospital, they found the heart beat with the Doppler right away and sent me on my way as everything fine.

However I have just woken up with more red bleeding, no clots or anything just red blood when I wipe. I don't know if I should contact the out of hours GP in the morning or wait until Monday, or just carry on unless it gets worst.

I was told to take a week off work and rest but am due back on Monday. I don't want to take more time off work on Monday if it's normal and I am just being anxious.

Thanks

Ring 111 lovely, they will send you to epu to check you over. I personally couldn’t sit worrying over the weekend about it x

Thank you, I will do. I would spend all weekend worrying.

My EPU isn't open at the weekend so you may have to wait, but definitely do see them when you can and get them to check for subchorionic haemorrhage. It's what caused a lot of us on here to bleed in first/second trimester. Usually sorts itself out by 20 weeks and baby can be just fine. But depending on how big it is you might need more time of work to rest.

Ring 111 they'll advise you, best of luck

Thank you all, it seems to have stopped again, so I might just take it very easy over the weekend and call my GP/midwife Monday.

Hello!

I had some on and off spotting for about a week or two when I was around 14 weeks also and then it went!

It was really annoying cause it just makes you worry. But try to stay calm and just keep an eye on it.

Thanks you, I am just gonna keep an eye on it. I had loads of bleeding in my first trimester with my son. They never could see what caused that, there was loads of blood and really big clots (size of my palm) and that was fine, It's been worrying me that it's later this time. It's good to hear it can still be fine this late :)
