I'm 25+4 weeks pregnant. Baby number 2. I've woken up half an hour ago feeling really ill. Been sick and tummy pains. Baby is moving around happily. The pain feels like trapped wind and when you hold your pee for too long. All family have had viral bugs for the past 2 weeks. So wouldn't suprise me if we have now caught it. I really want to sleep but i just can't i feel that awful. Anyone else up? X

I'm up. Morning sickness. I think it is starting to get better - I'm 14 weeks now, but it's still not great.

I hope you feel better soon Flowers

@speedy85 oh i hope it gets better for you soon. I had it bad till 18 weeks. Brushing my teeth always set it off lol. Me too i feel awful and just can't get comfy. Also got a pain in my right shoulder blade when breathing in deeply. Had that for 2 days but think picking our 2 stone 2 year old up has caused that x

Thank you. I am not finding it too bad anymore because now it has been going on for a couple of months it feels like the new normal and I also keep comparing it to the peak I had around week 10 (being sick around 8-10 times a day and barely able to get out of bed).

I can't imagine being sick with a 2 year old to look after too! Shoulder pain is no fun either. I hope you haven't caught anything but as long as the baby keeps moving fine then I guess it's OK.

I have a painful click in my jaw when I open my mouth or chew that is bad but I've felt too nauseous to go to the dentist. That will be my priority when I get better, although knowing my luck it will disappear at that point.

I feel a bit better this morning so not sure what it was. Very tired and my shoulder blade hurts a lot. Keep googling but comes up with the worst x

Hopefully the sickness won't be back. I think contact your midwife rather than google if you're worried. Google is always seems to come up with terrifying stuff.

Have you thought about going to a masseuse about the shoulder pain? They could give you a pregnancy massage too. I haven't had one of these yet but I think I will try it if I get aches and pains later in the pregnancy.

Sorry your feeling unwell op pain in your shoulder blade can also signal trapped wind as well; it's a referred pain.
Could you try drinking some peppermint tea and see if that helps?
Hope you are feeling better soon Thanks

I'm on day three of the shoulder pain. I've had it a few times before. Seem to get it every few months. Shoulder blade hurts to touch, upper arm feels achey and hurts to breathe in. I've been to the gp about it twice and they just say its a trapped nerve or blame me picking up DD so don't think its pregnancy related xx
