Anyone else get really bad headaches?

I’m 16+5 and I seem to be getting really bad headaches. Paracetamol doesn’t touch them. I don’t drink any less than I usually do so don’t think it’s dehydration.

Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? It might be worth having a word with your midwife. I had terrible headaches towards the end of my pregnancy and was diagnosed with Pre-eclampsia, which was treated safely. Hope you feel better soon and congrats!! Flowers

Thank you for the reply.

I saw my midwife yesterday and she said my blood pressure was fine. I have had a stressful day at work so probably hasn’t helped!

@ThorsMistress this has been me all week! I am 16+4. I spoke to the midwife about it on Tuesday. She took my blood pressure and said it can only really be hormones however if it gets any worse to see my gp. However I now have a sore ear and sore throat so thinking it's more like an infection.
I found one of those wheat bags heated up has helped. I hope you feel better

Hello, I’m 16+4 too, we must have the same due date! I’ve been having
headaches of varying intensity for about three weeks now, I went to the doctor when I had a particularly bad one, felt like something was really wrong, but blood pressure was fine and when I saw my midwife this week she checked my urine and that’s all fine too! So I think maybe it’s just one of those things. Hope this helps! Nice to have bump buddies!

PS I’m constantly thirsty even though I think I drink a decent amount; my midwife says you have to drink more than you think when upduffed. I do seem to have fewer headaches when I make sure to drink lots, I have one of those big reusable bottles and I try to drink one a day at least.
