How weird is morning sickness? Can stomach almost nothing except tuna sandwiches with crispy lettuce. Could eat them all day. Why some things and not others? Anybody else have only a few have bigs they can eat?

Chips! I was soooo sick yesterday, about 15 times in total, including throwing up water! I’m not sure why it’s called morning as it’s definitely an all day occurrence for me! The only meal/food I managed to keep down was chips! At least yours is nice and healthy. I’ve found I’ve gone off tonnes of food and drink I used to love. Can’t stomach the thought of drinking hot chocolate anymore

Chips! Love chips, miss them. My other is salt and vinegar crisps so not all healthy. Actuallly just binned an Easter egg. Disgusted at self 🤣

I'm feeling more nauseous this time round #2 and I've been sick twice so far at seven weeks.

I find I can't have any breakfast or it makes me worse so have to wait until around 11ish for something small to eat. I'm not into tea/coffee at the moment which I normally love (5/6 cups a day).

Been craving chicken so eating that when I can. But this morning around 10 I had the porridge sachets which have added fruit and vitamins and I thought it was yummy

Yup, I’ve COMPLETELY gone off chocolate. Sweets, chocolate, cake, biscuits, ice cream...there’s been half a tub of Ben and jerries in the freezer for over a week. Normally it would be long gone but I have no interest whatsoever in it.

Weirdly, the only sweet exception is full sugar fizzy drinks, especially coke. Can’t get enough of it.

howfaralong · 13/04/2018 17:11

Haha this can only be a good thing! I'm the same with the fizzy juice but I'm worried about caffeine limits 😩 ... fruit juice too but I'm worried about sugar. So much worry!

Yes! I don't normally like fizzy drinks but craving full fat cola.

You can have a surprising amount (esp if you don't drink tea/coffee), I googled it and the caffeine levels aren't that high..

Finding I have to eat every hour or so to keep nausea at bay. Plus drink tons of water or I go dizzy.

Not been sick yet but only 6w and it's been like this since partway through week 4!

Master chef is coming on so that will be me starving followed by horrified followed by starving again. It's a morning sickness rollercoaster!

I'm 8 weeks, also craving tuna sarnies (but with cucumber) although after I've eaten them the thought of tuna makes me feel sick Confused ...Also threw away a huge Dairy Milk easter egg yesterday, even the box made me want to gag haha.
Haven't been sick yet but noticed as soon as I hit 8 weeks that the nausea, food aversions and sore boobs went up a notch. I never know what I'm going to be able to eat day to day which makes food shopping such an expensive nightmare, I keep buying things and then the next day I can't even look at them and. It's getting expensive! Grin

Also, I find cooking a huge struggle, even if I want something the thought of cooking it puts me off and makes me feel ill. Pregnancy sickness is the most bizarre thing!

yellowmellw · 14/04/2018 09:01

I made a lovely potato and leek soup for everyone yesterday and once it was cooked I couldn't go near it so just had the bread for it

AaronPurrSir · 14/04/2018 09:29

Woken up this morning really craving pate, which is annoying as obviously I’m not allowed it Sad thick, smooth pate spread on crackers with some of that weird lard stuff that should be disgusting but is actually delicious....mmmm!

I can only eat chocolate and stay feeling human. Or twiglets. I’ve gone off my beloved sweet potatoes and bell peppers.
