I’m having a real panic about the size of my bump and the fact it’s measuring on the 90th centile. When I follow the line to 40 weeks it says baby will be 4500g which equates to

Not sure how I posted that too soon...

4500g equates to 9lbs 10oz!!! My DS was 7lbs when born, but I can’t remember where he plotted on the charts. How accurate are these charts? I’m freaking out a bit.

Please don't stress about the centile measurements!! I did the same with my 1st and the measurement dots from the scans were all measuring huge.
The consultant told me I'd have no less than a 10-11 pounder. I was shitting myself!!

Turned out to be a perfect 8lbs 15. So still not small but not the giant I was expecting!! I did have tons and tons of fluid which they said definitely skews the measurements from the scan.

Good luck!! Smile

Thank you. I’m properly panicking about it and have started to beat myself up and blaming myself because my diet hasn’t been great and I started with a higher BMI this time than I did with my DS. I don’t mind having a big baby so much as the fear that the food choices I’ve made may have made him or her overweight.

As you can tell I’m a major worrier!
