Hi
I’m 10+2 and being really sick many times a day, i work full time and commute via train to London most days. Today I just couldn’t go in it’s been my worst day so far 😢 I’m already taking prochlorperazine maleate they seemed to do the job but I think my body has got used to them. Is there any other tablets people have used that really did help?

Cyclizine or ondansetron seem to be the best

Lots of information on the Pregnancy Sickness Support website if you look it up about medications. Doctors tend to work through the first line ones like cyclizine and prochlorperazine and if people are still being really sick use combinations or go to second line ones like ondansetron. Sometimes having an antacid really helps too - like ranitidine or omeprazole.
There is a great hyperemesis support forum on here with ladies suffering various degrees of sickness - but lots of good advice re foods/drinks/meds and when to get more help (ie hospital for fluids).
Good luck, it's truly miserable, especially if you are commuting....

Thank you @Boredoftryingusernames that’s really helpful I’ve had cyclizine too so maybe time to go back to doctors for next ones. Yes it’s miserable 😢

There’s also promethazine which I found the best and metaclopramide (sp?) but that made me go mad. No one would prescribe me ondanestron despite ending up in hospital many times but I know other people had more luck.

Cyclizine!

Bobbielee91 · 13/04/2018 16:20

I have had prochlorperazine and cyclizine now and I think my body has gotten used to them both.
I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and still suffering with sickness - I ended up in hospital last weekend and given 4 bags of fluids to get myself hydrated again.
I hope that your sickness stops soon, it’s really no fun at all Sad

I've had metoclopramide for HG which was amazing for me. I hope you feel better very soon.
