What to use for sleeping downstairs?

I'm planning on getting a Moses basket, I already have a baby box as it arrived the other day. I want a next to me crib when they get bigger. What do I use for downstairs? Do I carry the Moses downstairs with me? Or use something else? And what happens when he or she is in the crib.
Sorry for all the questions. FTM.

Use the next to me from day one, and the baby box downstairs?

Which pushchair do you have? All carrycots are suitable for daytime naps and some can be used overnight too if need be. We used DD's pram carrycot on a Moses basket stand.

I suppose I could use the next to me at bedtime and the Moses basket/box downstairs during the day. I'm worried about the box being on the floor as I have a cat and she loves to jump into boxes.

We don't have a pram yet.

Next to me from birth
And Moses basket downstairs

Or co sleep and let the baby sleep on you whilst you watch Netflix and scroll mumsnet

Either will work fine

When DS was newborn I often just put him on his change mat on the floor downstairs so he could kick about nappy free and then in his pram bassinet in the kitchen. From about weeks I put him in a bouncer chair with vibration settings and he loved that.

*from about 8 weeks

I'll be using the pram carrycot for downstairs this time, as I want to get a bednest or similar and won't be buying a Moses basket in addition.

Hopefully when baby is too big for the carrycot, he/she'll be able to sleep upstairs with the monitor on (this is baby number 4 but I feel like I'm learning all over again...when do they grow out of the carrycot?! 😆)
