Hi, I was wondering if anybody else had had a similar experience and so could give me some advice. I've just had an early scan for reassurance and there was a heartbeat and everything looked ok for the baby. However the ultrasound also picked up a 5mm dermoid cyst on my right ovary, quite near the neck of my uterus. I had no idea I had a cyst until now. I've heard that this can cause quite serious problems in pregnancy, and that it might need to be removed? Any advice on what I should do next? I have my first NHS midwife appointment on Monday.
