I'm 11+3 !,# I've been suffering all day with this, tummy hurts and ribs ache. I got it with my first 7 years ago but can't seem to shift this bout of wind. My poor husband has had to deal with me trumping all night! What have people done to shift theirs?

I realised fizzy drinks were triggering mine so am now avoiding them as the gas they cause is absolutely excruciating! Unsure whether you drink anything carbonated but it’s worth trying to give that a miss and seeing if it helps.

I bought special rennies that are specifically for trapped wind and they have also helped.

I've not had and fizzy pop, I think I'm just unlucky haha

Try drinking peppermint tea it helped mine! That and cups of warm water seemed to get things moving.

@smurfybubbles I hate herbal tea 😥 but I'm so desperate I'll give it a go tomorrow if it's not gone.

Might stretching helped me, and lying on my left side and rubbing my tummy.

Peppermint tea, too, unfortunately.

Yep peppermint tea and rocking back and forth on the loo to loosen it!

Yep - peppermint tea or peppermint oil capsules. Wonderful things.

Thank you I'll try the peppermint when I can get to the shops Grin
