So I have midwife at 11.30 and obviously need a full bladder I've just done my morning wee because it's impossible to hold untill then so when should I start drinking again enough to fill a sample for the appointment? I don't want to start to early then be busting for a wee

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You shouldnb’t wee directly into the strips FYI as they could easily be contaminated by things like vaginal discharge.

@Didntcomeheretofuckspiders
I did ask that question but the midwife was like no it's fine but I just think they run things there a little backwards tbh

OP you are really over thinking this. You need to provide a sample, drink a cup of tea and a glass of water an hour or so before your appointment .

I know this appointment has been and gone but this reminded me of a scan I had in my last pregnancy - they reeeeally don’t mean a ‘full’ bladder 😄 I went in and my bladder was 4x as full as they needed, and I didn’t even need the loo!

Why on earth would an empty travel soap bottle be unhygienic? You’re pissing in it not drinking from it! You just need a leak proof container, an old jam pot which has been thoroughly washed will do.
