12 week scan tomorrow and feeling nervous

Hi all. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and instead of feel excited I feel nervous. I already had an early scan due to a bleed at 6 weeks but all was fine and we saw the babies heart beat. Pregnancy symptoms seem to have died down a lot last couple of weeks e.g I don't have sore boobs anymore and the sickness only comes back occasionally mainly in the evening before I've had dinner. Tiredness is still as bad as it's been since around 8 weeks. Can't shake the negative thoughts away though. Anyone else felt like this?

Hello, yes, I have had scanxiety as I call it before every scan till quite recently. I'm having extra for growth and am now 35 weeks.

I was incredibly negative before one at 11 weeks as I'd had 2 mc already. Utterly didn't believe there was a baby. The delight lasted about a week before fretting about the 12 week scan.

The placenta has started to take over by now so your sickness will be reducing considerably.

It is an anxious time; try to take it one step at a time, no need is good news, and I do hope all goes well tomorrow.

Thanks for replying. The scan went fine... phew! I will also be having extra scans for growth due to medication I'm on but apart from that it was all good! Now I need to chill haha
