Have I been doing nun theory wrong?

Just had our 12 scan today and they gave us their predicted sex of the baby according to the nub.
I've guessed quite a few right in the past and I would have thought the opposite sex to what they said. So, interested to see what everyone else guesses and wondering whether if being doing it wrong all this time.
(I do realise it's not an extract science and she did stress she wasn't 100 percent sure as it's too early)

I'm surprised they said anything at 12 weeks. Mine wouldn't (although they were a bit mean so I was too scared to ask anything)

Nun theory is notoriously bad at producing babies (sorry couldn’t help it)

I only clicked on to see what on earth 'nun theory' was.

I'm no wiser with 'nub theory' tbh!

I thought girl at my 12 and 20 week scan but its a boy, looking at the picture it does look like a boy but with a girl nub XD

I'd say girl due to the look of the skull but it looks like a small ballsack down below...

We had a scan at nearly 14 weeks and they said before the scan no way could they tell us what it was. 4 more weeks till we find out I am literally going to burst from excitement

I thought this was going to be a thread about a miraculous conception.

Too early for formed genitals but they said they thought boy based on nub but I thought the nub looked like a girl - what do I know!

I'd guess boy as the genitals are angling up but you won't know for definite until your 20 week scan. Keep us updated :) xx

I definitely must have misunderstood where the nub is then as it looks like it's straight/ pointing down to me

I wanted to know what nun theory was doesn't sound like the kind of thing you'd associate with pregnancy tbh....

So disappointed - was very interested what nun theory could be!!

I would say girl but honestly it's a wild guess...please update and let us know when you find out for sure!

I think boy based on the 30 degree angle (which I’ve just been reading up on!)

I can't see anything pointing upwards though

I don't think you can see the nub properly in that picture.
