Hello wondering if there is anyone that can help and give me a little bit of hope, this is my 3rd child I have gone over I had a sweep at 40 weeks she said my cervix was long and need to shorten but it was open and she felt babies head she said she cleared it all, I don’t no the different of pain as I hve suffered from braxton hicks for 8 weeks, baby is still engageged she has been for 5 weeks I’m shocked she is not here already aswell as midwife I am booked in for another sweep in 48 hours after last one but I am scared to be induced as I had a really bad birth with my last child and want to avoid a c section I know if I was induced I would have more chance so I really want labour to start naturally and idea how I can help my self please anything I have walked had sex pineapple etc and has anyone had the same issue but then second sweep worked it’s only been 27 hours since my last one but I’m sure if should of worked now

Just on here for some advice too, I'm also 40+1. And didn't get the sweep at 40 weeks due to baby not being engaged enough

@Lauzy123 I have no experience as I'm currently 31 weeks with my first but I was reading yesterday that acupressure really helps, as does getting on all fours and swinging your hips back and forth as well as doing squats if possible. I have no idea if they work or not but maybe worth a try?
