Passed huge blood clot...

Hi all. I'm 9+3 and have already been to EPAU for bleeding at 6 weeks. It was all fine and eased off and no sign of it for two weeks or so. Last night and this morning however I passed two big red clots of blood (bigger than I've ever seen in any period). Nothing else, no other bleeding, when I put my finger inside to have a feel it comes out completely clean. I was at the doctors yesterday for morning sickness, and have booked another appointment for this morning (doc is not going to be happy to see me two days in a row I can imagine!). Is this something I should worry about when I've already had a scan? Should I push for another scan? I'm going out of my mind as I've had two miscarriages before. Really terrified...

Hi all. Thanks so much for your support. Had the scan this morning and everything is absolutely fine. He could see where the bleeding was coming from and reassured me that it was of no risk to baby and should clear up. Baby was wriggling around and I cried my eyes out when I sat down with DP afterwards in the waiting room. Such a relief.

Thank you all so so much for your words of wisdom. Still doesn't seem real. Someone pinch me!

AaronPurrSir · 11/04/2018 12:41

@caramina tell me about it. I’m currently 6+4 weeks and panicking over every twinge or moist feeling. Can’t wait to reach 12 weeks. Your story has given me massive hope that even if you think the worst has happened, it could all still be ok Smile

Scotstar · 11/04/2018 12:43

I had really bad bleeding at q6 weeks. Turned out to be a clot in my cervix but it's so bloody scary isn't it! I now have an 8 month old. I'm do glad everything is ok x
