I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant, everything's been okay up until now and my symptoms have been strong (much stronger than my previous pregnancy.)

I had an urge to go to the toilet around an hour ago and when I sat down there was a huge gush of bright, red blood. I tried not to panic too much as I did bleed slightly with my previous.

But now I have strong cramps. Coming and going every now and again, but becoming more frequent and they are incredibly painful. I feel like they're taking the wind out of me.

I think I know the answer, but does this sound like a miscarriage?

I’m so sorry you are having such an awful time I am keeping everything crossed for you xx

I was around 7 weeks pregnant when I had a big bleed with cramping. I went to A&E (they were fab) and had a scan 2 days later which A&E arranged. I was certain I had miscarried. At the scan I was so surprised to see my baby was very much still alive! The bleed was caused by a 'sack' of blood in my womb (caused by implantation). A jolty movement caused this sack to empty - causing the bleed. Fingers crossed you have a similar happy ending xx

How are you @harshingmymellow? X

browneyes3753 · 10/04/2018 10:43

Just read this post got my fingers cross for you OP Thanks

HarshingMyMellow · 10/04/2018 11:48

Thank you for all of your messages. I was wild with pain last night and managed to get myself relatively comfortable with some OTC codeine.

The EPAU have booked me in for a scan tomorrow, I'm still bleeding and have recently started to pass clots, the pain is still quite bad though which is worrying.

DP has to go out again today; so I'm on my own for a bit but to be honest I don't mind. He can't believe I'm still in pain and seems to think that I'm being a drama queen. Angry

Thank you for all your handholds and links, I suppose all I can do now is sit and wait.
Cuddles with DD on the sofa in order x

Seriously what are some of these men like. Sorry OP and hope it soon passes. Sensible to have the scan as you never know. Sometimes there is bleeding in pregnancy. Have lots of cuddles with your DD. Flowers

HarshingMyMellow · 10/04/2018 13:47

@Cornishclio tell me about it. When he said it I was in floods of tears because the of the cramps and obviously the situation, I couldn't believe what was coming out of his mouth. Told him to not bother coming back if that was his attitude to it all Angry

Thank you x
