The facts-
Last proper period 12th Feb
Since Thursday light brown discharge
Had the poos (tmi) this week
Today pain in lower abdomen like a bad period pain.
Almost chundered last week at some smells joked I must be preggo!!

Please say ectopic is rare? And unlikely?

If it was an ectopic pregnancy the pain would probably be unbearable as your last period was almost 2 months ago? I had an ectopic recently caught at five weeks and the pain was unbelievable and actually what took me to a and e. Definitely get checked though as I could be wrong and EPs can be very serious. Good luck xx

I would get checked. My friend had an ectopic and had low-mid level pain on and off until c. 12 weeks when it suddenly escalated (burst), she collapsed and got blue lighted, so it's possible given your time lines.

Re. ectopics and Mirena, my understanding from her is that the consultant told her that a Mirena doesn't make an ectopic more likely, but that because of the positioning of the Mirena, the only way a pregnancy could implant is if it's ectopic, IYSWIM.

Unlikely (although not impossible). You need to POAS. Can you feel the strings of your Mirena?

Ectopic pregnancy isn't necessarily painful, mine wasn't. My only symptom was light spotting but my quick-witted midwife sent me to the EMU and (after a fortnight of testing, scanning and retesting) I was eventually operated on.
POAS and get yourself checked out as soon as possible.

Right ladies.... so out the loop on the pregnancy lingo had to google POAS Hmm just caught some morning wee and going to test after I've been to the shops, didn't realise it will show up on a test!!
Praying it's just the coil making me spot.
