Early test

Hi, I've recently done one of those clear blue week predictor tests and it says I'm 1-2 weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone else found out this early and how they felt about it. It feels just so early and I only took a test because I couldn't be doing with the stress every month and though I would take a test so I could move on and not try for a while.

Congratulations! Just to let you know that makes you 3-4 I think as we count from LMP but the test counts from ovulation!
I found out when I was 6 weeks or so so still quite early but was trying for 3 years so was over the moon. How do you feel?

I tested early like you. I was abit paranoid aswell as I had no symptoms for another couple of weeks. Then morning sickness hit 🤢. Congratulations hope all goes well Smile

Thank you. I'm feeling a little worried. I had signs to say I'm pregnant, but I thought it was just me willing it to be that I was, because I wanted it so bad. We'd been letting nature "take its course" so to speak but not properly trying. I've been wanting it for years though. I am so excited though. I so cannot wait. Thank you, it's nice to know it's not just me who found out early lol.

Congratulations OP, how exciting! Xxx

Yes, I had a 1-2 week result, I was around 4 weeks and was a day or 2 before AF had been due. It is a very stressful and anxious time and it feels like time stands still for a good few weeks as nothing else really happens until booking in with the midwife around 9 weeks. Just try to relax (easier said than done!) and hopefully the next few weeks will pass quickly for you.

Mumtobe2018 · 07/04/2018 20:08

Thank you miss Bax and usernotfound0000. Yeah it does feel like time has stopped. I have my first appointment on 4th May though. Less than 4 weeks to go and counting lol. I will try to relax though, as I know it is a little while until then. When is everyone due?

I found out 6 days before af was due! Pregnancy test companies make their money off of women like us you are not alone in early testing don’t worry! Congratulations! X

Try and keep busy and time will fly, I'm on baby #2 and it's definitely gone quicker this time. I'm due 11th Nov. Congratulations too!

Mumtobe2018 · 08/04/2018 08:42

Oh wow 6 days, that was early lol. I'm being so naughty. I feel a little like I'm nesting a bit. I'm wanting to make lists, looking at maternity clothes, drifting towards the baby sections when I'm out and about.

I am definitely going to try to keep busy. I'm on my second and I know how quick time is going with my first. She's coming up 9 years old now. It has flown though.

Oh wow, I think I'm due (as per LMP) around 11th December. I'm really hoping s/he comes on time or early.y birthday is close to Christmas and I really don't want that for little one lol.

Did your first come early or late? My little one is 12 now so there’s an age gap with mine too!

Mumtobe2018 · 08/04/2018 09:26

My first was 12 days late. I was being induced for 2 days before I went into labour and just into the third day she arrived lol. Have you told your eldest yet? I'm waiting until we are at 3 months and had the first scan before I tell her

Were you early or late with your first?

I found early too i was 4+2 i didn't think I was preg i only done the test as af was 2 days late but i thought she was coming had all the signs but then they eased a bit and i thought thats not normal for me so done the test to rule pregnancy out was fully expecting a bfn and near died when i seen the 2 lines!! Congrats!!!

MrsDx · 08/04/2018 10:09

2 weeks late and had to be induced 🙄 was horrid. I think most people wait to tell their other kids now just in case don’t they...I stupidly and excitedly told her the day I found out!

Mumtobe2018 · 08/04/2018 20:59

Thank you LMXO and to you. I had a few signs to and they haven't really stopped either. The worst is the cat lol, she doesn't leave me alone, she likes to walk on my "chest" and it kills. I've been having stretching twinges too.

MrsDx I know what you mean, it is so hard not to blurt it to my daughter. I have been asking her questions though, but my oh has said I need to stop speaking to her about any of it in case she realises. She would be so excited. She's always saying 'when I go to daddy's, you and 'my step dad' should have the special cuddle because I want a brother or sister lol. I really cannot wait to tell her, but I'm waiting until we have had the first scan.

Congratulations to everyone here by the way :) x

Oh my daughter is my husband’s step daughter too! Sounds like we are in a similar position! X

Mumtobe2018 · 08/04/2018 22:23

MrsDx Yeah it does sound similar. Do you know when you are due?
