TMI warning - discharge

Hey girls. 29+2 here and high risk of preterm labour basically can go at anytime due to complications. I've had a heavy discharge from yesterday and worried it's my mucus plug? I remember my show from my first baby being slightly bloody. This however is white. Not runny really thick and lots of it. Even when I wipe there's loads. It can be slightly cream in colour. No smell no itch no infection as I was swabbed last week. Is this normal?

Not sure if normal or not but my discharge has gradually become like this since around 30 weeks. Less than earlier in pregnancy but sometimes comes out in a big clump.

Maybe mention to mw just in case.

Thank you. I'll keep an eye on it and let her know

This is exactly the same as mine, I can’t obviously give a medical opinion on yours but I’ve had a couple of swabs as it has increased and there’s no infection and they don’t think it’s mucus plug.

If you have been swabbed they may have been able to tell you if they thought it was your mucus plug? That’s what they said to me anyway..

But I am have a LOT of thick mucus especially on wiping

Sorry no such thing as TMI on here haha

Mucus plug is usually yellow/green or bloody. I have thick white discharge right throughout my pregnancies and it’s normal. Since you are high risk though, it wouldn’t harm to ask for it to be checked out.
