38 weeks and 7 stretchmarks have appeared :-(

I'm not asking for advice or reassurance.
Just wanted to say a massive Gaahhhhh.
Have used oils religiously throughout. Got to 38 weeks at the weekend and I've had 3 appear on the side of my bump and 5 on the front of my tummy.

Nooooooooo! I didn’t know you could get them that late. Keep up with oils and massage, they might be your only ones.

I didn’t have a single stretch mark till 40 weeks! Then grew a belly full of angry ones in the 10 days I was overdue. I know how you feel! They do fade eventually!

I had none with DD, though I did already have some on my hips from when I filled out as a teenager. Wondering whether I’ll get them this time now though.

Oils do nothing. Sorry but they don't. I have a couple of stretch marks from my first pg which ended in mc. I am Glad I have them.

Same happened to me with DS. None and then bam! They appeared.

I thought I'd got away with it, until I looked at the underside of my bump last week... There's loads of the buggers!
Also been using oils etc, but am measuring 42 weeks at 38 weeks, so bump is pretty large!

Same here. None and then the fuckers sprang up at 39 weeks.

I'm glad I'm not alone but sorry you've all dealt with this too!
I wouldn't change being pregnant for the world but I'm now hoping the baby comes any day

Oh nooo I'm 37+5 and was tentatively hoping I'd got away with it but will be watching like a hawk now 😂

I had none until I reached 37 weeks, I'm now 15 weeks pp and they're now starting to fade! 🙌🏼
