I had that all the way through till about 30 weeks. It's ramping up again at 34 plus extra nausea!

I've put on the upper level of recommended weight but I'm still well within bmis etc (I think I needed it!)

Mw said just go with it!

ClareB83 · 05/04/2018 08:13

I had that at 8 weeks. I think you're growing the placenta!

I've also had it other weeks here and there, we've decided they're growth spurts as it has seemed to match the boys getting a nice boost at their frequent growth scans. Probably rubbish but makes me feel better!

Roquella · 05/04/2018 08:16

I'm 8+5 and the complete opposite! Sickness and nausea so bad that the idea of eating makes me 🤢

BumbleNova · 05/04/2018 08:18

I was like that at 8weeks. It's subsided and I must have needed it because I'm now 11 and I've not gained at all yet.

MonkeyPoke · 05/04/2018 08:22

From about 12 weeks on I had the hunger, I just couldn't stop eating, appetite has gone back to normal 3 months after the birth and I'm about 4lbs from my normal weight, impossible to find time to eat with two children so it's a relief 😂

surreygirl1987 · 05/04/2018 08:28

Yes i was ravenous and ate all the time! My friend was the same! However even though I felt huge and was terrified of weighing myself I'd only put on a few pounds so you might be pleasantly surprised - I felt like I'd put on a stone so was relieved!

brogueish · 05/04/2018 08:30

That was my whole first trimester! I was happy to take the extra pounds over the nausea.

BexleyRae · 05/04/2018 08:37

I suffered from sickness until about 15 weeks, so when I felt OK to eat I definitely made up for the times I couldn't.
I put on just over 2stone, I'm not sure if that was good or bad tbh

LeighaJ · 05/04/2018 08:38

I had that in first trimester into second. In the first trimester if I became too hungry I would have to drink juice before I ate. It was like the hunger if ignored for too long would make me then feel too nauseated to eat but drinking juice fixed it.

In the second trimester I had the extreme hunger for about 3 weeks but minus feeling too sick to eat if I became really hungry.

Clarashan · 05/04/2018 09:25

Yep, i'm just over 12 weeks now and its calmed down a bit but still eating small amounts constantly throughout the day

ForeverHopeful21 · 05/04/2018 12:56

I've had extreme hunger all the way through my pregnancy which is very unlike me as I'm not normally a big eater. I've gone from a size 6 to a size 12. I'm now 38 weeks and really hoping that my appetite goes back to normal once the baby is here!!

usernotfound0000 · 05/04/2018 13:03

I've just entered this stage at 8+4. Until earlier this week I was eating normally, or maybe even less as I was getting full quicker due to bloating. I had to have cheese and crackers before bed last night as I was so hungry!

wejammin · 05/04/2018 13:05

I'm 9+5 and was eating hobnobs in bed at 3am this morning. The hunger is unreal!

halfwitpicker · 05/04/2018 13:07

I was like that. Just eat.

Pinkvoid · 05/04/2018 13:21

I’m the same. If I don’t have food in my gob I start dry-heaving.

Bojangles33 · 05/04/2018 13:22

I was starving for periods of time then couldn't eat at all for weeks, now 31 weeks and have no space for food so just eat if it helps! You will probably even out over the course of the pregnancy

Nothisispatrick · 05/04/2018 14:06

I had this at 8 weeks too. It was so awful, I would eat a full meal then an hour later I would be doubled over trying to shove food in as I would be sick if I didn't. I hated it, it was worse than the sickness. It only lasted four days luckily.
