How and when did you explain about being pregnant to your other children?

I have two DDs 4.5 and (almost) 3. I'm not sure how to explain to them so that they understand. DD1 was only 18 months when DD2 was born so didn't have a clue what was going on and as far as she remembers, DD2 has always been there. This is going to be a much bigger adjustment for her, and for DD2!

Hello! I am also pregnant with my 3rd baby. My two are a bit older than yours, 6 and 4 years old. Same situation as you, as mine are about 20 months apart in age, so when I had boy 2, boy 1 was too young to notice.

I've not told them yet and was going to wait till 20 weeks, after we have had all the anomaly tests done and results back. If all is ok, then I will tell them. Also, I feel that then only waiting another 20 weeks for their new sibling won't be so long.

I'm sure mine will be super excited...a friend of mine had a baby 7 months ago and they are both just so interested in the baby whenever we see them...
