What is the nub theory ?

I’m 13+4 and have two boys I’ve read about the nub theory but don’t really understand it can someone explain ? Is the nub visable on my 10week or 12 week scans. Pictures are blurry as I haven’t had my proper 3 month ultrasound yet. just for fun pink or blue 😊

I think it's a bit early to tell in these scans TBH, but as far as I'm aware it should be more accurate once you pass 13 weeks, so post pics once you've had that scan and we can try guess again!

Oh, and the best explanation I can give is in the first picture, coming out of your baby's bottom is a tiny white line. If that's pointing 30 degrees up or more, it's a boy, if it's horizontal with the spine it's a girl.
