Who’s found to gender before the 20 week scan?

Hey, has anyone paid for a private gender scan before the 20 week scan at the hospital?

Hi yes, they had a deal on with Babybond for around £30 and we found out we were expecting a little girl at 17 weeks! Lovely service and got a sneak peak of baby in 3D (although at 17 weeks she didn't look much like a baby! ) Gender was then confirmed again at the 20 week scan.

I had a gender scan at 16+6. Had a quick peek in 3D. Found out baby is a boy. He's due in 5 weeks 💙

My DD had a scan at 16 weeks (not to check gender though) and I'm convinced I know what she's expecting. I'm not medically trained though 🙈😂 She has her 20 week scan in a couple of weeks, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled 🤓

I had a private gender scan at 16 weeks as it was the cheapest option the scan company had and I wasn't overly bothered about finding out the gender I just wanted to check on the baby as I didn't have a 12 weeks scan and it seemed a long wait until 20 weeks.

Congratulation too all. So it sounds like 16 weeks being the earliest. I’m debating whether to pay or wait. I’m only 10 weeks so a little while to go but also very impatient!
I’ve already got a son and would love to have a girl. I feel like it’s a girl but who knows until the scan! x

I had a private scan at 16 weeks with both my previous pregnancies and will be doing it again this time (am 10 weeks also).

I would definitely recommend it. The 20 week scan is a medical scan and the sonographer cannot always guarantee they can tell you the sex, and if the baby is in an awkward position they won't take the extra time to try and find out.

My first pregnancy I had already found out I was having a girl but when I asked at my 20 week scan she said she couldn't tell!

We had one at 16 weeks. I also really wanted a girl but I would have loved my baby either way! She's currently asleep on my chest! I'm so glad we did it - it was a really special moment!

We had a scan (nhs) at 17 weeks and found out the gender!

I had one at 16 weeks to find out the gender and we are having a boy and then this was confirmed at the NHS 20 week scan x

I found out at 11 weeks with both babies from the Harmony test

Like twixes - if you really really want to know early and for sure (and also down to 99.9% accuracy your likelihood of a number of syndromes), you can get the harmony or panorama test results from 10/11 weeks.

I had a private gender scan at 16 weeks for £31.50. Totally worth it. It was both for reassurance and to find out what I am having.

Harmony test for me so I found out at 11 weeks.

Yes I had one at 16 weeks (the earliest they would do a sex scan). It's a good job we did because she couldn't tell at the nhs 20 week scan because baby wouldn't lay right.
