Asap? Just out of interest, why asap? Looks like a bloody show to me.

How very exciting!!

FlaminYon · 04/04/2018 10:52

That looks like your mucous plug. I’d get to hospital but it could be ages yet so don’t panic. Congratulations Smile

poppym12 · 04/04/2018 10:54

Looks like labour is on its way Smile. Who has told you to get to the hospital asap?

Relaxing2 · 04/04/2018 12:11

A friend said it shouldn't look like that

That's your mucas plug! Mine looked exactly like that! Call the hospital labour ward and speak to them and they'll advise

mollymoo0 · 04/04/2018 13:51

Everyone's will look different and yes that's the mucus plug

newcupcake · 04/04/2018 14:18

Defo the plug !

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 04/04/2018 14:22

It’s the plug!

3boys3dogshelp · 04/04/2018 14:24

Looks normal to me. You’re going to have a baby soon!

Whitegrenache · 04/04/2018 14:24

My friend had this last week at 10.30 am with second baby.

She had baby at 12pm delivered by me as he came very fast before paramedics could come and too far gone to go to hospital Grin

SpidersWilliesOnYourFrillys · 04/04/2018 14:24

Ohhh that’s a plug, good luck OP Grin keep us updated Flowers

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 04/04/2018 14:27

It's your plug, don't panic. It means labour is in its way. With DS1 I went into established labour within 12 hrs, but it took a few days with DS2.

iggleypiggly · 04/04/2018 14:31

It’s the plug! Exciting. Good luck Flowers

CuppaSarah · 04/04/2018 14:33

Looks just like my plug! Bloody alarming isn't it? You're told blood is a major red flag, then get to term and a bloody show is a ok.

ILikeMyChickenFried · 04/04/2018 14:33

At 39 weeks that's good news! It's your mucous plig. Baby will be coming soon x

ShowOfHands · 04/04/2018 14:34

Yep, mucous plug/bloody show. You're having a baby.

Any tightenings?

CuckingFunt1987 · 04/04/2018 14:37

It's just your plug. Don't get too excited as labour can either be immenent or weeks away . I lost my plug and baby didn't appear for two weeks

Relaxing2 · 04/04/2018 16:17

No other signs yet guys x

I lost mine around a week before my waters broke. Good luck! X

Bluebirdsky · 04/04/2018 17:05

Completely normal, just your 'show' or mucous plug. As long as baby is still moving well and you feel otherwise ok no need to rush to a hospital. It can still be a while before labour starts.

Pinkvoid · 04/04/2018 17:32

I remember panicking when I had blood mixed in with my show in my last pregnancy (the first two were just green/yellow) but everything was absolutely fine. Just a heads up, mine were all born within two days of having my show! Good luck op Flowers.

LushLemons · 04/04/2018 17:47

Definitely plug, I lost mine and then waters broke about 2 hrs later

LushLemons · 04/04/2018 17:48

Ps good luck 💐

Ncha · 04/04/2018 17:50

It's just the plug. No need to rush to hospital if no other issues.

How exciting.

spugzbunny · 04/04/2018 17:54

I didn't actually lose my plus until I was in labour so it can go at any point! Mine was also massive so you may have more to come!

Why on earth did your friend think you needed to go to hospital?
