Hi,

I’ve had 3 mc in the past and I’m thinking the worst already. Last Thursday I had a scan where they couldn’t see anything, they said it’s either a unknown location pregnancy or it’s just too early as I was (4.5wks) My bloods doubled which is a good sign and I have another scan booked in for next Tuesday. But On Monday night I had light pink blood when I wiped, I thought it was over as that’s normally how my mcs start. It’s stopped since and has turnt yellow with a disgusting smell (sorry tmi) I’m only 5.4weeks. I phoned Tuesday morning to say I had light pink bleeding and they didn’t seem too worried and said if it turns red come in but it’s yellow/green. Has anyone else had this?

Green is definitely not normal, in fact it can sometimes be an STI... unsure whether that could be a possibility for you. You need to get that checked ASAP regardless as it sounds like some kind of infection.

It is yellow when I wipe after the loo sometimes but it’s my urine because of the prenatal vitamin which is normal.

Not seeing the pregnancy at 4.5 weeks on a scan is completely normal btw, it’s far too soon.

@pinkvoid thank you, an STI is out of the question (I hope) maybe I’ll phone 111 for an out of hours appointment after work. When I say green I mean more of a light light green or yellow but yeah definitely isn’t normal. Oh good it worried me when she handed me the unknown location leaflet.

I wouldn't ring 111 for that honestly .... a doctors appointment will do and it's probably just an infection which will be cleared up infections can cause irritation causing a small bleed -- 111 is for something that cannot wait until the next day xxx

My pregnancy was originally of unknown location the baby was just too small so don't panic yet xxx

@pickle I know but I can’t get an appointment as I work 7-7.30 and 111 normally offer me an out of hours appointment. I already had yesterday off because I thought I was losing the baby so I can’t have anymore time off. It’s tricky as I’m a nanny and I can’t take the children I look after and their mum works in London and it isn’t convenient for her to come back. I know it isn’t urgent but I do need a close eye because I had a lap and dye procedure last month and 3 mcs in a row so I guess I need everything checked out :/ I’m glad your pregnancy wasn’t an unknown location and it was just too early, I’m praying that’s what happened for me! But with this discharge I don’t know xx

It can be light green sometimes if blood has been mixed with it so I wouldn't worry too much

Pickledgerkingsareathing · 04/04/2018 14:21

Green usually signals an infection so it's not a urgent worry tho hun x

@molly oh really, not sure if it’s a good thing though as blood sometimes is a bad thing! It’s stopped for now so maybe I’ll just wait for my scan on Tuesday.

@pickle I hope not! I’ll get a doctors appointment on Monday, I have 2 weeks off from Friday x
