7 weeks pregnant and I have been spotting lightly for a week, just a tiny smear when I go to the loo. I went to the EPU this morning and baby was measuring about a week behind but good strong heartbeat. Consultant said that the gestational sac isn't as large as expected (only 2mm less than baby) and that this is a soft marker so i need to be monitored more. I was given 5mg of folic acid and told to come back in 3 weeks plus a report to bring on holidays. Have had an early MC and MMC in the last 2 years. Can the sac get bigger to support baby or are things likely to stay looking grim? Wondering if there is any light at the end of the tunnel
