The one who coined it 'morning sickness'? Its 6.30 pm and I'm eating marmite on toast so I don't throw up.

And while I'm at it where is his mate (cos let's be frank - they were blokes) who said it wears off after the first trimester? I'm 18 weeks pregnant. First trimester my arse.

Wankers, the lot of them.

As you were.

😂😂

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/04/2018 18:43

Nicest thing that anyone has ever said to me on MN! I think I may cry.

Fuck me 40 weeks is LONG.

FranticallyPeaceful · 03/04/2018 18:48

My sickness started about 13 weeks, then disappeared... 33 weeks now and it’s started again. Absolute fucker honestly

TooMinty · 03/04/2018 18:51

It was the same arsehole that described breast milk let down as "gentle tingling sensation"...

Springsnake · 03/04/2018 18:51

Had it with all 4 of mine.had to take tablets I really didn't want to..it's hiddious, and I would of loved another child.but the sickness put me right off.i sympathise with anyone suffering x

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/04/2018 18:54

Springsnake I'm sorry to hear that.

TooMinty I am starting to think the entire pregnancy forecast is full of euphemisms created by people who don't know what they're talking about i.e. people with a penis.

God I thought it was just me. I dragged myself home from work and just had to stuff down a toasted pitta with peanut butter before i threw up.

TheUbercornMum · 03/04/2018 19:01

Yes yes. Four million times over. Had HG with number one DD and it got a bit better around 24 weeks. It reappeared at the end but was mild.

This time it's bad again and it's just as you describe and it's grim so you have my sympathy. It's ten times worse in the afternoon and evening so forget the term morning sickness. Have been forced to resort to medication again as I officially have HG again (joy joy) which makes it more bearable but knocks me out. At least when I'm asleep I'm not feeling sick eh? 11 weeks and counting...

twobambinos · 03/04/2018 19:08

Yes yes op. Feel your pain.

All day sickness for the 9 months by 2
This time not as bad but still more than any man would suffer with

Ubercornsdiscoball · 03/04/2018 19:28

39 weeks of sickness with my first. Slightly better with only 25 weeks second time round. Currently 13 weeks and not hopeful with my third Grin

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/04/2018 19:40

DH not home until 9.30. I really fancied curry this morning so got everything ready to cook one. Now I just want chips.

GAH!!!!!!!!!

Are we allowed to say FUCK on MN??

That's just turned my feral child filled day right around!!

I have soooo many fucks to get out it's unreal!

Including, but not limited to;
anaemia, nausea, zombie like state of exhaustion, leaky boobs, agonising rib pain, the shits, constipation (in the same fucking day?!) and waddling.

All the fault of the man with the penis upstairs... Angry

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/04/2018 19:47

I'mAce you can say FUCK (in capitals if you wish) as much as you fucking well like.

ImAce · 03/04/2018 19:51

That's amazeballs.

I will save my modesty stars for hotel reviews in future!!

Chedfords · 03/04/2018 19:53

Oh my god OP I think I love you too! I’m 17+5 and I’m feeling as rough as a badger’s arse. Morning sickness seems to be worse for me when I’m tired but it’s still hanging around like a bad smell. I also have the worst skin I have EVER had. Spots all over my jaw - the pregnancy glow thing is complete bullshit. (I’m also assuming I can say ARSE and BULLSHIT on MN too...)

OhHolyFuck · 03/04/2018 19:55

The same twatbadger who declared women 'bloom' - the only time I looked anywhere near blooming was the sheen of sweat I had when puking for the 40th time in mid-summer

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/04/2018 19:58

Do. In fact I have seen threads where people are told off for using stars. Even for the C-word! It's terribly liberal and united (unless you mention certain topics, including but not limited to: MIL/SIL, alcohol in pregnancy, FF vs BF, Dubai, neighbours, answering the door/not answering the door, cleaners, benefits, laminate flooring, twiggy shit and pebbles as home decor, feature walls, private vs state education, boarding schools, bleach, cleaning of sheets, BLW or not BLW, schools, Boden, designer handbags, rescue dogs vs bred puppies, indoor cats v outdoor cats, Prosecco v gin, biscuits, binge eating, Ross Geller, all celebrities). HTH.

15 weeks in here... grey as dish water, still waiting for my ‘glow’

AyeAyeFishyPie · 04/04/2018 10:53

I also have a bad cold. So I look like absolute shit. My bump is also not that obvious in most of my normal clothes so I just look fat.

I had a doctor tell me that the massive great rip in my fan job was only a graze. No it’s a huge great fuck off wound.

Swearing is helping me today to deal with third trimester nausea.

RaindropsOnRoses2 · 04/04/2018 10:59

I thought it was morning sickness because it was sickness during the morning/beginning of your pregnancy? However I guess that's still not accurate as some people have it all the way through.
I always found it worst in the evening!
