I am bravely venturing out for the first time since my sickness started over a week ago and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can buy ketostix? I can order online no problem, but being as impatient as I am I may as well pick some up whilst I'm in town (if possible).

Ketostix are for ketosis ?

@wiccan41 they are, which can be caused by severe morning sickness. I have irregular nausea and vomiting. Some days I feel ok (today) and some days I vomit 20 times plus and end up quote unwell. I've been advised to buy ketostix in case it worsens again and so I have an indicator of whether I need fluids or not.

You can get them from most pharmacies I believe. I've got them from boots. My GP sent me to hospital when my ketones were 3+

Thanks @booandbumpp - boots didn't have any and nor did the local chemist so given up my search for the day and ordering online!

I ordered some online - Amazon I think. I got them after having to go into hospital due to too much sickness. So far I haven't needed to use them 🤞🏼💪🏼

If your not diabetic all they will do is detect your in ketosis as your glucose stores are used up
Don’t see the point in using them tbh see a doctor if your really sick
