I recently finished the NCT Refresher Course (ahead of DC2 birth). First time I did a different antenatal course (not NCT) that I enjoyed, but decided to try NCT this time, as it is local to my new town.
I’m really disappointed with the course content. I thought it would be more thoughtful and helpful around introducing/managing new baby with current DC, but in reality it was more like 4 sessions of coffee and biscuits chat. Not informative and at £150, a total waste of money. The other ladies (it was a small group) seem nice, but everyone is busy with existing lives and kids (rushing in and out of the sessions to get back for babysitters etc), so there aren’t any plans to meet up etc.
Anyone else have feedback on the Refresher Course? Wondering if I should ask for a refund, but the lady who ran the course seemed nice, so I don’t want to upset her.
Any thoughts?
