Heart rate around 110bpm when resting

I know that it's normal for our heart rate to be raised during pregnancy but for past few days I've been averaging 110 bpm on the heart monitor on my phone. Also I'm getting very breathless just walking upstairs.

These are normal, right?

I'm 32 weeks btw.

I'm not sure what's normal but I went to hospital with reduced movements at 29 weeks and they measured my heartbeat too it was 115 and they wouldn't let me leave till it was under 100 when resting. They said mine was raised due to dehydration (and probably stress with being on the trace). I don't measure mine at home so not sure what it is usually. I usually get breathless going up the stairs now at 31 weeks think that bit is normal! Maybe check with your midwife x

I had similar last week )high heart rate and breathlessness) and GP referred me to hospital to check for pulmonary embolism. Pregnancy is the main risk factor. I just thought I had pneumonia but they said they had to at least rule PE out. Turns out I had flu.

I'd give out of hours a ring personally.

I should add I was breathless at rest, never mind going up the stairs!!

@zaalitje unless that Is normal for you - a resting heart rate of 110 is on the higher end

I would check it by taking your pulse manually as the ones on your phone aren't always that accurate. If it turns out to genuinely be over 100 at rest then I would definitely see your GP to get it checked out.
