Help - I'm 30weeks pregnant and it's the Easter holidays. I have 2 daughters 7 & 3. My husband has next week off work and we were going to take our caravan away, but now we may stay home and do some days out. However, I'm stumped.
I am really suffering with sciatica and general aches and pains so long distance walking isn't viable. I cannot think of anywhere to go or places to visit that I could cope with. Suggestions please?
We are in Birmingham, but don't mind travelling a bit. My one idea is Stratford-upon-Avon with a trip to the MAD museum and a little meander but that's it. Help!
Thanks in advance

I find this site helpful:

We like going to wAtch the planes at sheldon country park. You can get the train there too. There’s a playground, cafe and a little farm. All free.
Or is there anything at the art gallery in Victoria square? We can usually pass a couple of hours there.
We are in cov and frequently go to the Herbert art gallery and the transport museum both of which are free. The Herbert is better if you are in pain tho as you can sit in each gallery while the children get on and explore and get hands on,
Hope you find something to keep you all entertained xx

How far are you willing to travel?

We went to Bristol last week to We The Curious. Really good. Little bit pricey but worth it I think. I'm currently suffering with back pain and SPD and there were loads of places for me to sit.

We spent about 4hrs with DS (4.5) running from exhibit to exhibit and probably could've stayed a bit longer but we're trying to save on parking!

I took 3yo DS on a steam train ride two weeks ago, that was very popular, and I got to sit down! We went one way, got off, had some cake in a cafe and came back. DS thought it was the best day out ever!

Great ideas thank you all. We've given in and booked to go to butlins for a few days.
We love Sheldon country park so once weather is s little more certain we will be there. Will look up the place in Bristol for over the Summer. Liking the train idea too. We did the Severn valley at Christmas but a summer journey would be fun too!
