Braxton Hicks (I think)

I had my first BH contractions earlier. My whole belly tensed up and went hard, a bit like when you get a cramp in your leg, but without the pain. It happened twice in an hour and then went away.

Does this mean that my body is getting ready, and I could deliver early? (I am 36w and 3d). I have to admit I am willing that to be true, because I have been dealing with the most awful PGP. I'm on crutches, and am barely leaving the house now.

Obviously I wouldn't want to deliver too early, but a week or so would be nice!
