Is anyone else experiencing this I know it's part and parcel but it gets to this time and I'm ready for bed I feel absolutely shattered 😫 however when I'm in bed at night I can't sleep cos I'm having hot flushes then chills eventually they stop but it's knackering. anyone else????

I'm exactly the same. I slept for 12 hours straight last night and still feel exhausted. A couple of times I've not known if I would be able to drive home from work (only 25 mins) without pulling over for a sleep. I'm usually a very active person so finding this very hard.

Yep, just woke up from a four hour napGrinbut can suffer at night with not being able to nod off, think my problem is my brain wont switch off x

I'm so tired doing the slightest thing is an effort even when ds asks for something I feel horrible because I'm sluggish and feel like everything's too much effort 🙁 the joys of being pregnant lol x

Slept on the sofa last night as DP fell asleep early and didn't want to wake him with my constant trips to the bathroom to either pee or vomit. Didn't sleep much. It's 8pm on Easter Sunday and I've spent around 3 hours out of bed today... maybe not even that.... I'm exhausted.

Just remember, you are growing a human being and a placenta. That's a whole new organ! You're only tired because of the amazing things going on inside you. Congrats Thanks

@NicoleSalski congrats to you too! Sorry to hear about the Vomiting I haven't had that yet just nausea in the evenings especially after tea and thats been bad enough Envy

My tiredness comes in waves. I can fall to sleep fine but am finding myself waking up at 5am most days, just lying there. Even though I know I'm going to be shattered later. Fun! I can only have sympathy for you. Sleep when you can, as much as you can!

Lmj25 · 01/04/2018 20:33

It's got to the point when I'm absolutely shattered in the day and I still can't have a nap even then only time I sleep is when I force myself at night when hot flushes have decided to stop whatever time that may be and then within a few hours ds is awake it's relentless at the mo lol

@Lmj25 my nausea is worst in the evening, eases throughout the day, then comes back in the evening with a vengeance! I'm on Stemetil now however doesn't seem to be working!

I am exactly the same. I don’t feel like I’ve been to bed after 10+ hours of sleep. I’m in my second trimester. People say this is the energy stage?! When will it come??
