Pretty sure I'm miscarrying, but not bleeding yet

Thursday got an unexpected bfp (I'm on the pill) Very surprised so did 4 tests, 3 very clear positive and one negative (clear blue digital). Friday AM did 2 more tests, both positive, including clear blue digital.

Today did 2 tests, both negative (ic & CBD), ic was very very faint. Symptoms also vastly reduced.

But I'm not bleeding.

How long can I leave it before I have to go to the GP to start it off?

In my experience, its not effective to do tests in successive days, one after the other, because hCG fluctuates from low to high to low (like a pulse) as it is rising which could result in tests being good one day then bad the next. I know its hard, having had a mc myself before, but try to give it a good few days to rise, and test same time each day for consistency, before you convince yourself about a possible mc. Its real hard not to evaluate tests but alone and close together they dont really say anything other than you have hCG in your system.

I hope it works out for you though, its a real anxious (and sometimes terrifying) time to go through.

@Wellthis, have a blood test for hcg!

SVRT I don't need anything like that, I just need to know if there's any risk waiting it out, like infection or whatever. I'll just wait a week and if I'm not bleeding take another test. I don't want to bother with the GP if there's no need, just don't want to end up with an infection.

I had a chemical pregnancy 2 weeks whilst I had marina coil in. It’s basically a very early miscarriage as couldn’t embed properly in my womb. The doctors said a few days but watch for signs of infection (as I had a coil in I had to go to the hospital). I tested positive for about 3 days and the the tests got lighter and went negative. About 5 days later I started bleeding really really heavy with big clots coming away for the first couple of days which left me feeling dizzy and sick. I am still lightly bleeding 6 days on.

Can I ask what made you think you were pg if you were on the pill? Simply because, if you are having sufficient symptoms to make you suspect pregnancy whilst on the pill, you may be further on than a couple of weeks and may need to look at medical support.

Bufferingkisses I got some implantation bleeding and a very distinct backache I've only had when pregnant. Took a test Wednesday which was so faint I thought negative, then much stronger positives Thursday and Friday. Didn't test Saturday and then tested today.

How are you feeling now? It’s quite a shock (well it certainly was for me). I thought the Marina coil was as safe as being sterilised but apparently not.

I'm ok, started bleeding a little, but not even enough for a pad yet, and no cramping. Just want it over now. Been a horrible weekend overall!
